They don't seem to be doing anything to the fruit, but there are hundreds of them on every hua moa bunch that emerges, but only for about 2 days.

I don't know what it is about Hua Moa but it seems to be attractive to bugs. In the early summer I will find rows of holes in the leaves from worms. In the fall, the cucumber beetles feed on the leaves. None of the other varieties are bothered at all.
