Well Hello Everyone:}
Seems like I find myself with a few young nanna's and it's already mid September so........
* Do I go ahead and plant them in the ground and hope for a warm winter?
** Or do I keep them in their pots and move them in and out as needed to
keep them kicking the (pot) bucket?
*** Or do I give them away as Christmas Gifts to family and friends and
let them deal with them should the weather get to cold?
Thanks in advance for your reply's...seriously gotta do something :08:

If there is a frost or freeze warning at our place (zone 9) we lay the potted plants on their side, install some stakes to hold a cover above them and put a lamp in there to keep out the freeze. The covers we use are old sheets, blankets and anything that will supply some insulation. This is an easy method for us and has worked for many years. Have only lost a few leaves that touch the cover but all seem to like it. Have also built tepees for the larger tender plants and they came through also. Extra work but it might save a nice plant. Have also thought of a small hoop house if rain is possible.
Good luck

An overhead cover should be all that's needed

If I was you, I'd just drop them into the ground. They are on the small side and easy to protect.
I'm a bit colder than you in the winter and I've kept my now 4' x 4' SDC alive with all its leaves intact by covering it with a couple sheets and a large cardboard box on the few nights it gets below freezing.

The Dwarf Reds I'd leave in a pot and bring them in when gets even close to freezing. The rest follow your banana bleedin' heart.. :^)
