I am totally new at this. Just inherited this banana tree when I bought the house in March. I posted a couple threads but havent gotten much response. I dont know what kind of banana tree it is, just know its making bananas for the 1st time since the original tree was planted 6 years ago. Im assuming the one making the bananas is the pup, since there is a much larger tree next to it. Evidently the larger one never made bananas. I posted all the pics ive taken in my gallery. It started out looking pretty good, but the progress seems to have slowed down a lot and the last bananas to appear are really tiny and yellow.

I think all is fine from that picture, I didn't look in your gallery though. It will go slow cause the plant is using alot of energy to get the nanners to full size. Location?

Bananas first produce female flowers. These are larger and eventually mature into bananas. After the bananas are done producing female flowers, they produce smaller male flowers. The male flowers eventually fall off the plant. The smaller flowers on your banana plant are probably the male flowers. This is a normal event in all bananas
