So,

Isaac (thankfully) has been mostly a rain event in my neck of the woods so far. We're getting a few gusts here and there, though, and one of my namwa pups' emergent leaves was damaged. It is still rolled up, but seems to have broken at the crown of the plant and is now hanging down.

This is totally a newbie question, but what's the best way to handle this? I'm concerned that this will impede future growth. Should I cut that leaf off where it's broken to allow for a new leaf to grow in? Or should I just leave it alone? (was gonna' say, "'leaf' it alone," but that's a horrible play on words.)

Thanks for your help :)

I would cut the bent leaf just below the bend to allow the next leaf to grow (sacrifice one to guarantee the future leaf)

I say leaf it alone.. at least till it turns yellow. I had a limb fall out of my pecan tree that just sheared the leaf right off my VC this morning. I won't be putting banana's under it no more as loaded down it is w/ pecans.
