Not long ago I asked about the term sister plant used in the FHIA description of the Goldfinger and y'all gave me some good replies.

Would it be true to say a shoot rising further from the P-stem is more likely to be a sister?

All the shooters up to now have been less than 6" from the base. At about 5 o'clock in the picture you can see a new shooter that is notably further away from the pstem. That made me guess it is a sister.

Mayor, I cut it off today with several others. This one had a big bend in it so I guess the answer is no, it is not a sister.

1: What exactly is a sister shoot?

2: You didn't get any corm with it. If you're using that for propagation, you won't have any luck. If you just wanted to cut it off, then make sure you kill the growing point.

Nothing says grow like cutting pups (as long as you don't cut roots). :^)
