Anyone know which banana plant will fruit in a pot? Edible fruit only.

Try Dwarf Cavendish or maybe Rajapuri.

thanks, which one tastes better? I bought 2 blue java, I hope its the real deal, and a red dwarf, but I would like to add some other varieties.

Rajapuri would probably taste better. But it might be easier to get DC to fruit, as I know it fruits in a pot pretty easily.

Pretty much anything can be grown to fruit in a pot, but as stated, dwarf varieties will likely be a better bet. If you're looking for edibles, not ornamental, I would try super dwarf cavendish....only gets 3-4' tall and is well-suited to being pot-grown. Otherwise, any of the dwarf varieties would be a good plan.

I have some good rajapuri and dwarf brazilian plants available right now on sale $5 that would fruit well in a pot, being dwarf. Super dwarf cavendish isn't my fave to fruit in a pot. They tend to choke up and then you have to do surgery to get the blooms out. They are super cute though.
I have an ad in the classified listing section if you're interested.

They will all fruit in a pot if the pot is big enough
