First thing is to let folks know where you are. You may be near other members that have those, and it will simplify things greatly if that is the case. :08:

Good point, Thanks.

I live In vallejo california, the san francisco bay area.

Flat rate mailing from the post office is pretty reasonable.. and it my experience it has been reliable.

now is also a good time to mention the dwarf brazilian /apple banana plants i have are 5 gallon and flourishing

You need a Dwarf Namwah.Red Iholena may be difficult to grow in your area

Thanks for the tip,

I've got to try red iholena I've set my mind to it lol plus,i live in zone 9b-10 (sunset 17) described as nearly frostless winters.. Usually my bananas defoliate in january.. And start bouncing back in febuary (apple banana) takes a little longer. Other tropicals grow pretty well leave my mangos out all winter

Regarding Dwarf Namwah, it ranks highly in terms of both cold hardiness and taste, so it should steamroll right on through your 'winters' and give you terrific fruit.
