I got a basjoo banana plant. Have repotted it three times now. I will re-pot it again. This time with a cactus soil and earthworm castings on top of the soil. I will add humidity and use distilled water. Dawn

Got pictures? Where do you live, what environment was it growing in? Got enough heat? Light? Water? How old is it?

Your banana plant is dying...Welcome to our world, Ms Dawn! Most of us lost a few bananas along the way, but the good news is that "most" plants not that expensive to replace. With that said i have to agree with Illia, more info would be helpful and would like to add that re-potting so much can ADD to the stress of the plant. Anyway, good luck to you!

Well, for starters, if you look at the information under the avatar, you'll see Colorado (you do know that's a state, right?) as the location. :waving:

From your post it sounds to me, that your banana is not dying on its own, but with plenty of
help from you.

You do not say, at what intervals you are re-potting it, but you have to figure, that every time
you re-pot it, it may take up to 30 days, before it shows any signs of overcoming the
transplanting shock. If you are impatient and move it again into another pot, before it had any
chance to fully recover, you are just inflicting more damage.

My advice would be just to leave it in the pot, where it is now, just as long as it has proper drainage.
It sounds, like you have it in a suitable spot, so do not move it. Any major change to its environment,
may it be soil or light conditions, will set it back some more.

Good luck!
Olaf
