Awesome, welcome to banana growing. I hope you will have as much fun growing your bananas than my family has.

Welcome! "Musa Tropicana" is an invalid name, by the way, so you have an unidentified plant. Maybe you can post some pictures?

Welcome! Like previously said, there's no species under that name, but if you did indeed grow some from seed before, just make sure that if it happens again, only get seed that is large in size, not like the little things you find in store bought bananas. Those won't grow, they are not seeds.

Good luck with your new banana though. My best advice is to give it plenty of space to grow, plenty of heat but not too much, LOTS of water, and LOTS of nutrients. Compost, aged manure, or organic fertilizer are the best options but some people also use conventional fertilizers. Bananas like a lot of Potassium, so keep that in mind.
