Now would it be Dwarf if it is fruiting at about 10 feet?

I 'preciate this thread.

I was given bananas by two different friends. I am guessisng one is Orinoco and the other dwarf Orinoco. They look just alike. The two friends are in two different states and have different wintering programs, so they might be the same.

Other than height; how to tell them apart??

Thanks,
George

On the dwarf I believe the leaves will be more closely spaced not as far apart as tall and smaller leaves

It was a little difficult for me the grasp the whole "dwarf/Tall" thing but I will try to explain and please take this info with a grain of salt.
The "dwarf thing does not really mean alot smaller always, only shorter than the norm which if yours bloomed at about 10 ft. I seen some Orinocos taller than that like 12 or 14ft. and thinking you may have the Dwarf Orinoco. I remember someone posting about the Brazillian Dwarf/Tall. Maybe someone who has more knowledge than me will chime in.
