My c0-worker bought a bunch of these and gave me two of them. There is no such thing as Samoan Apple so??? It has some pinkish pigment on the stem but they don't seem to be on the back of the leaves. Pinkish outlines around the leaves and some pigment on the rib of the leaves, with some splotches. Might be to young to tell. Any guesses?

Any attempts on this? It would be easier with the fruit... Compared it to my dwarf apple, and my dwarf apple does not have that reddish tint on the stem. But my dwarf apple is a few months older.

Just had a closer look at my dwarf apple, and it does have some redish pigment at the very bottom, but not nearly as profound as these.

It would be very hard to tell at this stage, but it almost looks like my Mysore, except there is no red on the underside of newly emerged leaves.

If it is that, it could be Misi Luki of Samoa (the REAL Misi Luki....not the AgriStarts one).

Too hard to tell at this small size. Not Mysore or anything with strong color on the undersides of leaves. Don't read too much into the red -- that seems to come and go with some varieties based on climate and fertilizer.

It's not Mysore or a Red, but maybe a Brazilian or Manzano? It's really to young to ID now.
