I live on the Oregon coast and was told that with My weather i could not grow Tropicals. I Planted the seed and look fruit before 5 yrs cant wait until next yr this is a Red Ruby Grape fruit 1 if 6 the others are smaller but i thought id share . My other hobby
Now how will i know when fruit is ripe ?

looks lovely...man i wish i liked them,auggggggggg..here in florida i have a few trees but have never eaten one myself...keep up the good work...the dry branches you trim are great in a bbq,i use a little orange wood for some great flavor..

we grip the selected fruit and heft it...if it gives a bit to the squeeze and feels a bit heavy...drag that bad boy inside and eat it!

Thanks Being in The middle of Oregon i am hyped . BBQ Idea will try i bet that will be Great with Goose or Duck and rabbit YUMMY .
So i may have a little longer to go ? Pouts i would hate to pick it too early I did that with my Orange last yr

I was raised in Northern California. Picking for Thanksgiving was not very sweet. Picking for Christmas, they were good.
Picking in Jan/Feb they were very sweet and delicious.
If the plant sets new buds. Pick them quick or they will get sour and turn green if they do not fall off.
