Anyone ever use like a dollar store 3liter pop bottle filled with water, turn it upside down and shove it into the ground. The slow dripping help nanners at all? My largest nanners right now from winter storage wake up are like 3-4ft tall. Wife waters in the am and I water twice mid evening. Just wondering if my idea would work enough to give the nanners a little extra?

It would probably work, but your long term best bet is to try to improve the organic matter in your soil.

3 liters is pretty tiny; I use a 15 gallon "mini-barrel" with a couple 1/8" drip lines coming out of it to catch the bigger stuff that's off the sprinkler grid.
