Wow, thanks for joining, Inge. Gabe posted a link to your site recently when some of his photos were posted there. The most impressive photo I can show right now is from the freeze damage this past winter, but that's probably not something most commercial growers are interested in looking at.

Hi Harvey,
Thanks for the warm welcome. I went through your photo gallery and there are actually some very nice photos in there! e.g. the Raja Puri or the Veinte Cohol.
A small correction: we do not work for the commercial growers (at least not the big ones); we work for small-scale farmers in developing countries, and are particularly interested in using the Musa diversity for more sustainable production systems.
Cheers,
Inge

Dear all,
The ProMusa photo contest received close to 300 photos from which we selected the 100 best ones for a People’s choice competition. You can view the photos and cast your vote here: Promusa - Mobilizing banana science for sustainable livelihoods | People's choice, Close up category (http://www.promusa.org/tiki-read_article.php?articleId=40).
You have until July 9 to vote for your favourite photo in each category (Close up and Big picture). You can also leave a comment at the bottom of each page.
The prizes, one per category, will be awarded by a panel of 4 judges who will evaluate the entries for their photographic quality and creativity. The winners of both competitions will be announced on the website and in the next InfoMus@ email alert.
Regards, Inge
