Borneo Giant Question...I read somewhere, that the Borneo Giant will only have 3 leaves at a time. I have 2 12" starts I plan on planting. My question is: if I clump them together, for a better look, how far apart should I plant them? Also, when and where do I remove a dieing leaf?

I'd put them about 6" apart this year and further apart when you have bigger ones next year. Water and fertilize them heavily as the weather gets warmer.
And good luck in overwintering them. I don't have any luck with maintaining them in the greenhouse at 50 degrees, they die back to the ground each year. I have much better results with Alocasia Calidora which stays big for me at 50 degrees and doesn't even lose a leaf.

In my experience, Boreno Giant definitely does not keep more than 3 leaves at a time. The are beautiful EE's though and definitely do fill up a spot on their own (or maybe with another one 6 inches or so away). Pretty fast growers, but they need a LOT of heat and water to get going.
Good luck!
