What is the normal propagation for Red Abissinians (Ensete maurelli)? They don't produce suckers and I don't believe that they produce seeds. I have a very large one that just flowered so I know that it will be dying off soon. I'm tired of buying them all the time. Any thoughts on how to grow my own?

Tissue culture and also by seeds, but there is actually no chance ( 1 : 22000 )
So the answer is TC :D

So all the ones that I see for sale at HD & Lowes are from tissue culture?

Buy a new one every year --- I do.

Real cheap down here.

I just repotted my 2 into 10 and 15 gal pots. They grow fast with myco dust and worm poop.
