Just put 50% shade cloth over the long side of my greenhouse. It's pretty shade in there, perfect for my tropicals. However, I'm not sure if my bananas will like that. They are all about 8" tall. Should I grow them outside the greenhouse, or can I grow them inside in 50% shade so they can benefit from the warmth?

No problem for bananas in 50% shade

I forgot to mention, the greenhouse only gets two or three hours of full sun and maybe an hour of partial sun a day. The rest of the day, it's in bright shade... So that will be two to three hours of partial sun, an hour of bright shade and the rest of the day would be shade, that is with the shade cloth. Does that work still, or put them outside?

The bananas I've grown under a patio cover have done just fine.

Sounds good, thanks! Hopefully they'll do well. I'll move them out in a few days once the heater is set. :)

Mine do fine under shade cloth; probably much healthier for them to have "warm feet" than "toasty leaves" this time of year, for sure.
