Potscaping
If you have never heard of ‘potscaping’ then it is because this term does not exist. :)
I created the expression, because it helps me define the art of arranging plants in pots, of which
the Vietnamese are such masters. This includes plant/tree sculpting in pots and then arranging
the pots to accentuate the settings in which they are placed. They often become part of
landscaping, but also stand alone.
The following photos will probably explain much better than I can do it in words:

This is an example of a pot with a sculpted tree

A lot of imagination and craftsmanship went into the “pots” for these lilies

Attractive bougainvillea are often found in pots. Also masses of small pots are often employed
to achieve certain displays. The line of white [asters (?)] behind the bougainvillea is an
example, as are the pots with the red flowers above the wall. There will be other examples of
mass displays of pots in later postings.

This is an arrangement of gorgeous pots in the ‘Ancient Hue’ restaurant complex. More of
that in the ‘Good Food’ department later.
