What do you do with them?

I simmer them in lightly salted water. Dressed with butter or margarine.

Darkman cooks them with smoked ham hocks and bacon. My wife can't take the smoke so we do them plain.

Good served with mashed potatoes and roast beef or chicken.

Taste is nothing like their look alike, the lima. More savory like navy or pinto beans. Good bean.

What amazed me is the vines lasted on the trellis from late 2010 till Jan 2012 and produced steady all year.

I got some seed from a Gardenwebber neighbor. The source is Fairchild Botanic gardens in Dade county.

Bananimal- if you still have BJBB seeds I'd like some. I have seeds to trade- Burr Gherkin, Pima (a Lima from ECHO) and I may have a few seeds of Ethiopian Kale, which made it through our South Florida summer.
