Its usually between -18ish to -30 with an odd day colder that being said this winter it has been super mild with temps going down to -20ish for the first time tomorrow and it just snowed over night to cover about 3-5 inches. I try to keep about a foot and a half covering everything all winter and lay the vines down so they dont have to start again at snow level the next year. The university of Saskatchewan has a good fruit program here and they developed the cherries.

What system do they use in Canada? Metric or Imperial?

I think they teach Metric only in school but the lumber stores sell everything in Imperial. Id say we are 50/50 lol.
I use Celsius -40 is -40 and 0 is 18 ? I think

-40°C = -40°F
0°C = 32°F
It gets confusing... The other day I was watching some Australian news and expected an Imperial system. And they kept throwing at me some hybrids and metric values. Funny. Both AU and CA former colonies. :08:
