I have a lemon tree that I overwinter in a greenhouse from end of october to may 24.When I pick it up in may it is in full blossom and when end of october comes the fruit is still green and I take it to storage haven got no lemons.I got 1 yellow lemon in time(first one in 7rs) and about 25 that are green, cant get the fruiting time right.Should I remove all the lemons now before it's stored and hope there are smaller fruit growing come spring.Any suggestions. Thanks

In a subtropical climate, a true lemon will flower 3 to 5 times per year with each crop ripening in 4 months. If you have fruit on the plant when you take it to the greenhouse then it should ripen there. If not, there is a problem with the greenhouse.

I think it is a lighting problem! The plant is doing like it is suppose to . But during winter in the citrus belt not much is fruiting because of lack of sunlight hours and the concentration of sunlight.. So you put that lemon in a green house with natural lighting in what growth area? …. If its north of Atlanta Georgia ya just don’t have enough light hours . South of there ya just get by .. I would pick the fruit off this year and in spring add a little fertilizer and see what happens. I m guessing it’s in a container. It looks healthy . I bet it will do better with out robbing the plant all winter in lacking light hours wile it tries to support a crop ! …Allowing it to rest until spring with longer days and a little fertilizer

I'd like to add that the fertilizer you use should be for citrus or fruiting plants- higher P and K than N.
