Can anyone tell me what grass this is? I thought it was a Miscanthus but maybe not. It's roughly 5-6 feet tall and started blooming about a month ago give or take:

It is Miscanthus, maybe gracillimus.

a lot of the miscanthus look a lot alike. It looks very similar to mixcanthus malepartus, a very common one I'm growing. Gracimillus has very thin leaves, and often has a very purple look to the seed heads when they are first coming out. this one looks like it has wider leaves. If it's makepartus, it has a very scratchy, kind of "sharp on the edges" leaf with a very pronounced white stripe that feels kind of stiff, and will grow to be about 5 feet tall. After the plumes get a little age on them they are buff colored and very very fluffy.
