I am new to growing plants, trees, bananas, and am learning tons here.

But, I am very curious to see all kinds of different banana trees.

I know someone made a post like this before, but I'd like to educate myself on all kinds of different plants and also where they are growing.

Please post a picture of the favorite banana plant/tree you are growing in your yard.

Please post the species, and your city/country, and why you like that one the best.

I'm in MA.
I'm growing a couple Super Dwarf Cavendish, and getting in a Musa Basjoo shortly.

Thanks in advance for sharing!!

My experience is pretty limited but my #1 favorite is the Saba and is a real show stopper, they get alot of attention.
I also love the red color of the Mysore when they are young, and the fruit is very tasty.

Actually, I really like the Manzano, Saba, Ae Ae, Ele Ele and anything red. The Ae Ae, Ele Ele, and my dwarf Red are grown primarily because they are different than the typical green/yellow ones.

I like Lakatan and Yangambi because their fruit is better than all the others

That is very majestic. Honestly cant wait for mine to grow. Those big leaves are hard to miss.

But i have a question. Looking online i have seen some people growing these plants in buckets. They say its cheaper than a pot the same size. If i were to try that id have to drill some holes in the bottom right?
