I have a Cavendish* pup that has been removed from parent about a week ago and now is starting to turn yellow, is this just nature taking it course due to stress or could it be something else? Should I trim all but 2 leaves to help direct growing to healthier parts of plant? I know this is done often when transplanting. Was it removed at to young of a state?
* Correct me if I am wrong about species, pictures of mother plant below.
Some other factors, I have had the mother plant for over 20 yrs, removed plenty of pups to give away but never kept any for moi. Unfortunately my beauty is kept at a different location than my current residence, so pop removed the pup for me and I have no idea of what his surgical techniques were. Knowing him chainsaw and hatchet!
