Have you checked under the leaves for tiny white spots, webs, etc? I've seen plants like that turn out to be infested with mites.

Yeppers - you've got spider mites sucking the life out of that plant. They thrive when conditions are too dry. The only way I was able to eliminate was by cutting off all the yellowed leaves, and spraying insecticidal soap on all surfaces of the remaining leaves and the trunk... don't know if anyone else has had luck with other methods...

Please share a picture if the leaves have rejuvenated.
Part of it also could be due to plant shock from the fall.

Thanks for caring and asking. =) I put it in my room so if the neigbors cat gets into the house again it wont knock it on the floor again. then the leafs were turning brown on the sides so i put it in a window to get more light for it. the leafs stopped turning brown and there not yellow anymore. =D
I only sprayed it one time with soap and canola oil and its smaller but its very healthy now. i took this picture tonight.
btw i put my other banana plant outside and it died. mom said that some plants are only houseplants and cant live outside. Are there banana plants that are only houseplants?

Thats not true.
Its just that each plant has its ideal environment, soil, food, fertilizer and climate preferences.
As you know banana plants are meant to be grown outside.
Im thinking the soil and nutrients and weather may have been a factor.
Why do you say it died, are the roots still in tact?
If so maybe bring it inside as it might be too cold for the plant but is still alive.

It can grow even if theres only roots? i will get the pot and put it in my room and i hope it does. nobody knows anything about plants here and i have to learn how to grow them online. i know a ton about this banana plant now and it doesnt like to be moved around a lot and it doesnt like too much water. its getting healthy again and im happy and i dont think it will ever die now. =D thanks for helping.
