A few years ago I purchased a banana tree by a company called "going bananas" at lowes.
This has been my favorite banana to date but unfortunately it died. I'm trying to id the banana so I can get a new one, can you help me? This is the description: 1. It had a yellowish cast p-stem. 2.I think it was some type of dwarf because it was about 15 feet tall and stayed that height. 3.It didn't pup at it's height. 4.It had bunches of leaves at the top unlike tall bananas. Thanks!

That description is not detailed enough unfortunately to give an ID. We could all take guesses, but I don't think they will be accurate.
Did it ever flower? Do you have any photos at all of the plant at any stage?

I do not have a photo unfortunately and it never bloomed but here is a member photo of a rajapuri that looks similar.. this may actually be the one! I'll have to look at more photos though. It's the one on the far right next to the greenhouse entry. What other varieties look simular to this one in case this isn't it? thanks a lot.

I'm beginning to think it's definitely a Raja Puri. Now all I need is a pup!
