Google has your answer. I use a dehydrator to dry ours but they have a slightly different taste, good but not as good as sun dried.
Good luck.

I just cut my tomatoes into wedges, sprinkle them with a little italian seasoning and a little garlic powder and put them on the dehydrator until they are chewy and leathery. I then pack them into quart canning jars and store in the freeser. They mold if you store them out of the freezer. I can just take them off the dryer and eat them, they are so good.

We never can get them to really sun dry here, there is just too much humidity. I even tried inside the greenhouse I wasn't using. it kind of bleached them out but they still got moldy. I bet in the southwest where it's hot but dry, less humidity it works really well. Like when we went to San Luis Potisi MX, when you leave the bag of chips open they get crisper, not soggy like here! If you try to sun dry ristas of peppers, they mold inside here.
