With the stress this first planting has seen I'm surprised it made it to flower. And at 4 ft.
From what little info I gathered its supposed to be a short guy. The big pup caliper is large for its height so we will see for next year.
The second specimen I got this year is potted and should grow out well. It's a foot tall and has 2 pups showing.

Dan, looks very healthy for having endured a cold winter. How cold did it get for you this past winter? How early in the night did it get below freezing?

Harvey ---- Two days in Dec about 32F for a couple hours. There was no real freeze.
But that one night in Jan was a true freeze. Saw some frost on the car windshield at 7AM. That one lasted most of the latter part of the night and I guess started at 2AM.
Anybody remember tlturbo? Terry told me, when I first joined B.Org, to be careful cause PSL was just above the frost line in S Fla.

When they are ripe are you going to share? Don't get your way often but who knows.

What does "Datil la Lima" translate to?

I just love that punch line ""What this country needs is dirtier fingernails and cleaner minds."

Plugged "Datil la Lima" into a translator from Latin American Spanish, and also Portugese to English, and got "DatIl the file" and "Datil her files" respectively. I like my shadow name better anyway --- "Ratil ra Rima". :ha:
And no samples and no contest -- don't expect much out of this years stunted growth anyway.

I think it has something to do with the area it comes from, or the family that named it. Information on this specmein is very hard to come by. Its not very popular and I myself really like how it does not make very many pups.
Well done Dan!!! Congrats!:woohoonaner:
