In my never ending quest to find the easiest way germinate these seeds, I took all the ones that didn't germinate in plastic deli containers and put them in the garage. My hope was the heat from summer would really get them hot. Also, I was lazy and really wanted to move them out of the way. I totally forgot about them.

I checked a couple days ago and found this pressed up against the lid of one of them:

<a href=http://www.bananas.org/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=44275><img src=http://www.bananas.org/gallery/watermark.php?file=44275&size=1 border=0></a>

This is the seed:

<a href=http://www.bananas.org/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=44274><img src=http://www.bananas.org/gallery/watermark.php?file=44274&size=1 border=0></a>

Thing is this container wasn't labled, and some of them I combined, so I'm not sure what it is. What does anyone think? I think it is Ensete Glaucum. I did have some of those.

One of my problems also, forgeting to label. Really doesn't matter though since it is all entertainment for me. A few health problems have slowed me down quite a bit and growing is great rehab and satisfaction. Do you know of any mental software to resolve this?

Hi Eric, yes it does look like ensete glauca. I have planted these several times. I just had two pop in the last three days. They were from last year and I just planted them about 23 days ago. Only have 43 more(different varieties) I'm waiting for. Have fun they are great plants.

Very cool! Glad that it sprouted for you. I really like seeing things that I thought were long gone come up and thrive. Its a great feeling even though you didnt have to do anything to help it along!
