Hard to say, if it is a Cycad it is most likely some sort of Zamia.

Jackfruit

Oh, OK. But I'm just curious, what happened to the bottom three leaves on your Jackfruit plant? Over fertilized?

I was just given the plant today. Not sure what the white is.Maybe it's a virus of some kind or that could be natural for all I know about them.

Looks like Salvia 'Black and Blue'. (Formal description-Salvia guaranitica 'Black and Blue'

BLUE ANISE SAGE.) I love the color contrasts, and grew this for 3 years until winter finally did it in. More info-

Jackfruit

Jackfruit - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackfruit)

Very cool plant. Saw some growing and fruiting on Hawaii and ate some for the first time. Tasty. Strange. My wife couldn't stand the smell. She thought it smelled like onions and cheese. She has a much more sensitive nose and palate than I have. I thought it smelled "interesting and unusual" but not offensive. I really liked the flavor. And you have to be impressed with a fruit that can weigh 80 pounds!
