Plenty of pups. I have heard that they sucker very well and the fruit is very delicious. Will have to get one and find out. Good luck.

Is your Lacatan like the type they have in Jamaica? I was given a sucker of a "Jamaican" banana that grows quite tall (15ft pstem) and large delicious bananas. My sucker is five feet tall.

The farmer who gave it to me plans to harvest some bunches soon so I will take some pics and post them. Then you can see if it looks different. I will post a pic of my plant tomorrow.

This is my "Jamaican Lacatan". Really I am guessing but it seems to fit the description based on what I was told they look like. As I said I will take a pic of the mature plants when the farmer is harvesting.
