Although its been a little time now i got my Hua Moa,it seems i forgot to make a thread for them! I am feeling bad for it as i really want to thank Dan for sending me my Hua Moas!!!!:woohoonaner: Yeap, thats right,he didnt send me one but a whole 3 of these beauties!!!!!!:bananas_b :woohoonaner: Thank you very very much Dan!!!!!!:nanadrink:

Biggest

They have shown growth since i received with the fastest one so far being the medium sized one(which already grew some during transit as well) and the slowest being the biggest one with about 1-2cm of growth in total so far but seems to be starting growth now. I will be planting those in Pyrgos once i make the new planting beds at the front yard, and will be gifting one to my beloved cousin as well for planting at our property margins!

Looking forward to see them big!!!

Hi Tony!

No,not at all so far. It has a bluish-white underside. Mine are surely Hua Moa as they are from Dan and he has got fruit multiple times from them! :)

Maybe,or maybe Hua Moa throws leafs with colored underside latter on? I dont know. Lets see how the color on mine develops in the next few leafs.
I did notice the strange streaking pattern from the first time you posted the leaf underside picture. It does seem like the pattern is about he same as on mine. Mysore is also AAB and these are supposed to carry a sequence of BSV in their genome that may be activated during adverse conditions. Maybe we are both seeing BSV on our bananas? I dont know but really hope someone with experience on banana pathogen ID replys. In the meantime,if you have mealy bugs around, keep it away from your other bananas just to be safe...
Have you seen this streaking on any of your other bananas before? If yes,did it go away as the plant grew or did the plant continue producing streaked leafs from time to time as BSV is supposed to do?
