Bought this a couple of weeks back, been watering and fertilizing it with MG, bone meal and watering religiously. It looks like it's producing a new leaf every week, what can I do to get height, girth and continuous leaf output?

Very nice! Mine was about that size and it was taller than me by fall. It started off as my smallest banana plant and became my largest and best of all, I did nothing to help it get that tall. this year I think my Saba is going to beat all by bananas. It also started off as my smallest and now its the same height as my others (and its only may!)
Beautiful plant! Yours is growing faster than mine right now! Watch for Aphids indoors during the winter, they seem to like ensetes more than musas from my experience.

Sounds like you are doing everything right so far. All that you asked about will come in time (height and girth).

All you need is some time. You can't get the height overnight. But it will get wider and wider really fast!

Notice the growth and develop since last pic. My question for you folks, what should I feed it to get some height? I just give it miracle growth right now

Thanks nannerfun! The photo is of the one Aby that I actually cut back (to the center leaf) and bring into my studio from (sadly) Sept to May. By the time spring comes around, she was looking so so awful, this past spring I thought I'd lost her. But she really rallied! As of now, August, she's over 13 ft tall, in the same pot, same place on the deck as in the photo.
I have two more much younger ones, around 5 ft tall, first year with me, and one of them is really sick with something. (I think) The leaves are looking burned, yellow/brown and transparent in areas. It gets the exact same treatment as all my tropicals do, same sun, food, soil, water. I have posted on this site looking for help, but despite the much apprieciated replies, none has shed any light yet. What do you think? :0493:

Question about the Alocasia pups for the xperts........How do I turn the pup into a tuber on its own? I ask because frost is just around the corner and don't know how to separate or propagate the young pups
please advise
