Just finished watching "The Inside Job". Very eye-opening and very Michael Moore-ish.

The last one we saw at the movies was The Little Fockers. :lurk: The last movie I sat through at home was The New Adventures of Robin Hood. There was a dragon in it - very bizarre on the SciFy channel. I liked it. I want to see Water for Elephants!

I was watching bits and pieces of The Wedding Singer today. I love that movie...think it's because of the 80's music that I grew up with.
Trina, you and I are around the same age so you must know what I mean...

Too funny though. :ha:
:goteam: Great thread. We can pop in and post when we see a flick. :goteam:
Is this the Inside Job you saw, Trina?

I think there's a documentary, or did you watch the full movie?

Not sure how many "scary" movie fans are on the forum, but I liked Scream 4, and I definitely don't consider myself a scary movie lover. Scream 4 was not one of those filler type of sequels, it was very well thought out, and if you saw any of the other Screams (especially the 1st), you will notice a TON of references to it. I like how they poke fun at the scary movie genre and don't play by the "rules".
Although one of my favorite movies of all time is Avatar. I mostly liked it for its awesome visual effects and creativity. Its really cool to think that they had to create an entirely new atmosphere for the movie, while using lots of earth-inspired landscapes to create the fictional moon, Pandora.
And I like the majority of Disney original movies. Definite Classics.

I used to live on horror's but am more mature now (ehemm.. old) and can't handle the gore anymore. Love suspense though.
LOVED the wedding singer.. Adam Sandler is awesome. Soundtrack was great!! (I listen to the 80's channel all the time! :))
Yup! That was the Inside Job we saw. I have a whole new hate for shady government, CEOs and Insurance Companies..

I also like the old Friday the 13th's and Halloweens! The most recent Friday the 13th was definitely one of the worst scary movies I have ever seen (right up there with the remake of Prom Night).
I also liked Inception.
I saw black swan since it was an Oscar winner and I really wasn't too crazy about it. It was okay, but not my style of a movie since the ending was very unclear (and the movie became less and less concrete towards the end). I have seen much better than Black Swan.
I was thinking of seeing Tron, maybe I will since it seems like you guys kind of liked it!

One of the things I love most about the Halloween movies, is the theme song. It's just too scary and cool. The best horror movie music ever..

Ok this scene is ridiculous but people who dislike blood and gore shouldn't watch it...
