They seem really shriveled. I dunno if they are suppose to look like this. Also any suggestion for this species that may different from general instructions?

Dar, I bought some last year from Georgiavines off eBay, and they look just like the ones I received. I bought 8 different kinds and they were the only ones that looked like "Bird Droppings" (too FUNNY Dean! :ha: )

Did they ever sprout JaNan? This plants for it are so difficult to find...

No, they didn't. They are still outside, still in the rooting media. I would like to see something come up from them, but out of 8 kinds I had ZERO sprout. Some folks say they have had banana seeds sprout up to two years later, so I still have another year! :ha:

Hi,
The seeds are M.coccinea seeds as indicated in my photo too. They are extremely slow to germinate. I have germinated many of them several years ago but normally they are so dry, that floating in the water, but are still viable. Germinating normally takes several months.
In the photo Musa suratii is revised Musa lawitiensis var. suratii several years ago.

i got same looking 3 seedlings in last february, and no one has sprouted yet. =(
