Any one know about a banana plant that only produce female flowers. That means all the flowers are going to be fruit. I have one plant like that but don't know the name in English. In south India They call it's chundilla kannan. It's Inflorescence less. edible and very tasty. After all the flowers are open, the fruit bunch will be with out Inflorescence. Mine is about to bloom. I planted a big banana plant about 6 feet, last november, so i expecting a small fruit bunch.

That mutation has occurred in some Plantains, and I wouldn't doubt it has occurred in other types of bananas as well.

It sounds like you already know the name of your plant though. Where did you get the plant? If you know the name is 'Chundilla Kannan', then you do not need an ID. If you are saying the plant is like a plant named 'Chundilla Kannan', then we will need more information such as where you got it and lots of photos of the plant and fruits.
