Anyone else getting bombarded with Adobe updates? They interrupt me w/ pop ups to download updates. Now, when I want to watch a video of something posted here or emails, it says I need to update Adobe flash player & when I do, it says they don't support my 64 bit puter - only 32 bit. Then, it wants me to "click here" to get help downloading this new flash player for my puter. It is really pissing me off as I don't have time for their crap. Videos won't play any more for me. Do they control everyone's ability to see vids??
Got this new laptop last July so it's still new & always worked just fine.
I'm soooo angry ... grrrrrr

For me it's been some idiot program doing intrusive and unwanted scans on my computer that I can't seem to stop unless I log off altogether!
It's really ticking me off too! http://i375.photobucket.com/albums/oo193/hollyberrylady08/2nd%20album/emo2.gif
Who do these people think they are, is what I'd like to know...

I have acouple other players like windows, & I can play vids stored in my puter so I don't understand this. I am not a puter wiz.... obviously.
Hey HBL, I tried to click on the video that Jack Daw posted on you Bday thread & it said again that I have to update their flash player & "click here" ....so I did & again it said they don't support 64 bit so "click here" for more info &/or directions.
Still GRRRRRRR
Did anyone else recently have to download a Adobe flashplayer update?

HBL, if you are on a PC than you most likely have a virus. Better get on that.
Patty, just go to the Adobe website and update from there.

I think I corrected the problem by deleting their idiot program that somehow mysteriously got copied onto my harddrive!
As soon as I deleted it, their scans stopped and they went away. Good riddance to them. :03:

I clicked to open a email & a pop up said "do you want to allow changes to your computer - from adobe flash player" so I clicked on 'NO'.
Later, I clicked on an attachment to email & pop up said "access denied ...bandwidth limit exceeded".
WTF is that about? Then it said to pay at&t $7.95 a month for more bandwidth - whatever that is. I did live chat w/ at&t & they said it is yahoo (my email) doing this. They want me to switch from classic email to their all new email which I hate. They even stole my bookmarks 2 times now & at&t says they agree that yahoo is f ing w/ me.
There is no way to find how to talk live w/ yahoo.

Wow Patty...I'm sorry you're having such a rough time! :(
I would be furious! http://i375.photobucket.com/albums/oo193/hollyberrylady08/2nd%20album/emo2.gif
I really hope you can get this worked out soon. I use MSN and have had no problems.
Tell them to stuff their fees up their yin yang! :ha: Don't switch to anything that you hate!
Good luck, Patty! :D

I would run this program. Download the free version; it has saved me a number of times.
Malwarebytes (http://www.malwarebytes.org/)

Disable updates. I update once in 3 months and have never had a problem with that. :)

For some reason I can now watch videos that wouldn't play few days ago - even though I didn't update flashplayer.
Thanks Howard...I got Malwarebytes in puter now. I don't know why all this happened. I also got my bookmarks back....they just reappeared!
