Well they were doing just fine until the past two weeks, they aren't looking too good. They are in pots FYI. Leaves are limp and brown around the edges, soil is still damp so they aren't too dry I would think. never heard anyone else storing them or keeping them in the house for the winter.

They seem to attract a lot of spider mites so that might be your problem. Mine gets spider mites a lot, but its still one of my fastest growing indoor bananas and is doing pretty well. Mist it every once in a while (maybe with soap every few times as well)and wipe all the leaves clean every once in a while as well. How tall is your plant? It doesnt really matter too much, but if it is mature enough you can always let it go dormant.

No bug problems. It is 5ft and a 2.5" p-stem with a small 18" pup.

Im not sure what the problem could be then. Possibly too moist. I have only had my Velutina since September so I dont have too much experience with this banana. Cut off the dying leaves and hopefully it will hang in there for another 2 and a half months.
Good luck!
