I have bean eating some meiwa kumquats lately that finally ripened. The most fruits I ever had on that tree in 6 years. Also have some Honey Murcott tangerines starting to ripen. I only ate one of those in 6 years.
A couple cool nights around 50F in sunroom triggered tons of blossoms on 2 meyer lemons, persian lime, and more blossoms starting on tangerine & kumquat. Oooh, the sunroom smells like heaven!!

That is so cool. You really have a great collection All I have is fruiting is a few limequats.
I nearly killed my key lime, I let it get too cold last winter and it took all summer to recover.

Patty, it's amazing what you grow up there.
I'm eating Meiwas too, I just love them, my favorite fruit! I think I let the trees get a little dry, because some of the fruit is dropping off and they're not 100% ripe. That's OK, I eat them anyhow! LOL Also had a Ponkan tangerine this week that was SO sweet and so juicy! Much better than last years fruit, and about 1-1/2 times the size.
Rangpur limes are also ripening, tonight I'm going to make a "Rangpur lime pie with them"
Sandy, I find Limes very finicky to grow, I've killed a few and really have to watch the ones I have. Key limes do much better for me than the Bearrs.
On my end I have a couple of potted Tea Olives that I never got planted, so I moved them into the GH and they are blooming away like crazy! Not a really strong scent but very sweet and pretty.

Sandy, my small limequat died couple years ago.:( I have 5 key lime growing from seed...they are very sensitive to cold. They should fruit in 3 years (s'posedly).
Susan, you have a nice collection there! I heard all good things about Ponkan. What is a 'tea olive'? Never heard of that.
Very cool I wish I could smell that sunroom. My dwarf key lime almost died last winter and right now is just loaded with blooms just beggining to open. It's the only plant I have that smeels better than the plumeria.

Congrats, Patty, Sandy, Susan, and Bob.
I love fragrant flowers, shrubs, and fruit trees and can only imagine how great your citrus trees smell. My lemon tree still has a few years to go before it will fruit. Although I love the lemon tree grown from seed, I'm not very excited about all the thorns that came with it.
Patty,
One neighbor of mine grow tea olives and trim them to grow taller than 7 feet as a privacy fence. She told me they were extremely fragrant during blooming season, but I was never there when they are in full bloom.

You can always trim the thorns off, I do that sometimes!
Patti, here is the tea olive
Floridata: Osmanthus fragrans (http://www.floridata.com/ref/o/osm_frag.cfm) Not a very pretty shrub in my opinion, but the smell is great. Not really hardy here, but they sell them at Lowes, so they must grow here, right? LOL
