looks like you already junked the flower .they are kinda shaped live blue java a little but i would guess some type of fhia hybrid cultivar,but i have been wrong before

This is the same plant I had flower last year.I was thinking it may be Blue Java because of the curve in the bunch.

Here is a different plant that I got as Ice Cream.This plant s a much lighter green , has more pink on petioles and is not as hardy as one pictured above.

i said fhia hybrid because there are hybrids that may look similar to non fhia hybrids.. i was also looking at the dried male flowers (they dont terminate on a lot of fhia types).. yep only because of the male flowers that were holding on..maybe this happens on some cultivars that are known to have non persistent male flowers. java and others may have clingers from time to time????

well when you compared the blue java with the unknown i didnt see any persistent flowers on the blue java stem at all(from what i could see).. the top pic of the unknown banana illustrates my point.. there are not just a few but lots of persistent flowers that are packed in there... i dunno
