I had to buy a new monitor. This one came with built in speakers. It is an Acer P205H. When I first hooked up, I heard sound, but it wasn't loud enough, and I coldn't find any instructions on how to adjust it. On the bottom edge of the monitor, there are 5 little buttons, as shown.

They are not marked as to what they are for. When you press any one of them, you get a little pop up with 5 little symbols. The first is a green circle with a white e in it. Next one is the word AUTO. Third is a box, with several lines in it (like sybolizing text) Then comes a speaker symbol with little plus and minus signs> The last one is the word, "Input". I figured the one with the speaker was for the sound. When I pressed that one again, I got a volume value, but when I tried I was only able to decrease it. Now the sound is off and I don't know how to get it back on.

Thanks. I got some sound back but, somewhere along the line, type size got small.

In the lower right hand corner, right above the time in the task bar, (mostly covered by the bananas.com logo) is a size adjustment, in percentage. (When I printed the screen, in the picture above, it was at 150%) Changing the percentage, changes the size of the type in the postings, but the toolbars, and the favorites, at the left, and icons stay small. Is there any way to get these back to normal size? Thanks.

John try Tools. It is in the upper right hand corner of your screen. That's where I can control mine.

Thanks, Ja Nan, and Tony. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I can't see any way to correct the problem. Here's what I get when I did what you said, Ja Nan:

Here's what I get, when I hit View, as Tony suggested:
http://www.bananas.org/gallery/watermark.php?file=38793 (http://www.bananas.org/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=38792&ppuser=826)
Finally, here is what the icons look like now:

They used to take up almost half of the screen, from left to right, and top to bottom. Now, they're all bunched up into that one little corner, and about half the size that they were.

Maybe this would work.
1. Control Panel
2. Display
3. Appearance (tab)
4. Change the font size. (You can also play around with the "Screen resolution" on the "Settings" tab.

Pretty well got the font size fixed. The postings here are a good size, but the tool/task bars, the Forward and Back and Refresh etc. buttons are still kind of small.
