I'm still new to growing bananas, so I'm asking the group how often does Thai Black variegate? One out of a flat of 72 is that unusual. I'll up load some pics soon...

It doesn't have anything to do with it being 'Thai Black'. There are normally a couple variegated plants produced during mass tissue culture of any variety, it is quite common as far as mutations go. Sometimes they revert to green, sometimes they are stable in varying degrees, but you'll find out as it grows.
