Just subscribed and need advice.

Read on someone's post last fall to spray the stumps with fungicide before covering. So, last November, I sprayed some stumps with fungicide and left some without. In the spring, I discovered some plants had rotted and some had survived. Trouble is, I can't remember if the ones I sprayed were the ones that made it or if it was the untreated plants that survived.

Is there is any possibility that I will get a flower and/or fruit in the US mid-atlantic region (zone 6-7)? My musa basjoo plants just finished their 2nd summer, grow about 10 ft tall and yield many pups. I'm a newbie so suggestions are most welcome.

Thanks!

Im guessin you will get a flower next year if you can save the pstems this winter. The guy i got mine from had 3 musa basjoos flowering at the same time in zone 6 ohio. That is a good idea with the fungicide i will spray mine down when i cut them this year.
