Default What the heck

The same neighbor that said I turned in there tenant for wasting water just did it again. I'm riding around the neighborhood ,on my bike, collecting seed. The guy pulls up in his car and tells me to return his car cover. I said what. He say's I stole his cover of his truck and broke the back window. Then he says I'm just a .I told him he is nuts, what the heck do I want with his cover why would I brake his window. Then he goes on with ,your just a .I told him to step out of his truck and we will see who's a blank. Of course he didn't. I've called the police they say they can't do anything after the fact,I have to call when it's happening.

I never had problems like that when I lived in town, but I still was annoyed by various activities from my neighbors. I was raised on a farm and have been back on a farm for 16 years. It's got some of it's own inconveniences (now water when power goes out, etc.), but your story helps remind me why I was really wanting to get back to the farm when I lived in town.

Good luck!

Because this guy didn't believe me about wasted water issue , now every time something happens he blames me. I just can't get over this guy calling me what he did and then driving away.
I will bet this incident with his truck happened last night.

Cool Re: What the heck

You know, Tony, if it happened in here, it would be a full blown neighbour war resulting in 1 neighbour moving away or ending up in the hospital (or both).
Make sure you're not the latter one.

Also, wasting water in a semi-arid to arid desert area, such as your city, should be a crime punishable by jail. California, Saudi Arabia and Australia are of only few countries on this planet (I forgot India... right) that actually have high percentage of its water reserves not from sustainable groundwater reserves or rainwater, but these reserves are extracted from the sea by desalination plants and this problem is in your area much, much worse than it should've ever gotten in a similar climate.

Also, it would maybe help to find out, who the real mole in your neighbourhood is.

You can be fined for wasting water here.
Who turned them in for water use I don't know. Who broke into his truck no idea. Last night being Halloween there's people cruising .and I'm pretty sure someone from another area vandalized his truck. And I'll bet there was other cars broken into last night.Because he saw me this morning riding my bike, and I think he just saw his vandalize truck he thinks I did it.So I go around at 8am on my bike and break into cars. The guy is an idiot.

You know, Harvey, weapon's ban is not a bad thing. But there have to be some millenia of wars on the continent for people to understand.
Having every person belonging to a militia is so 18th century.

I live next to a 'neighbor from hell'. Not enough time to tell all that he's done, but 5 yrs ago the police came over & asked if I knew why they were here, & I said no... like always. The guy next door says you leaned over the fence last night & stole his weber grill. LOL, I have a 6 ft stockade. I can't picture anyone leaning over that & lifting a big weber up & over. I have a brick bbq pit & the same size weber...why would I kill myself to steel his? Cops just smiled & left. 2 weeks later I saw his grill in his yard...same one! He tried to frame me.
Just remember Tony, it's up to him to prove what's been done to him... not you. Next time he accuses you, tell him to prove it! Maybe it's time for you to set up camera to catch him in action if he tries anything on you.
