We have had the craziest weather this year. It has rained now for over a week which is not normal this time of the year in this area. January is when we get rain. It has also been cold ~60's. Stop laughing East Coast! This morning I went outside and found this....
![]() This was my third tall Orinoco that flowered and fruited. I guess it was made easy for me to get to the fruit. I cut the fruit off and took it inside. ![]() So why in a very cold year do I have 3 Dwarf Cavs, 3 tall Orinocos, 1 Ice Cream, 1 Brazilian fruiting?? Well, I went around my garden to make sure nobody else decided to fall down and found number 9 banana plant throwing a bud! Insane!! ![]() This plant is around 12 to 14 feet tall and was sold as a either a Grand Nain or a Williams Hybrid. I guess we will find out soon. What banana plant will fruit next? Maybe one of these.. ![]() My Hawaiian grown AeAe would be the ultimate!
