Does anyone have a Yosemite Gold Mandarin (TDE4) and, if so, what do you think of it?
I'm thinking of adding it to go with my other citrus (if I can find a nursery that carries it).

The "Gold Nugget" Mandarin (Tangerine) is far superior, and so is "Tango" which bears a little later. They are both genetic seedless fruits.

Thanks Richard, I have a Gold Nugget that I should get a couple fruit from in a few months. Right now I have Kishu Mandarin, Gold Nugget, Page, Owari Satsuma, Minneola Tangelo, California Honey, Valencia Orange and Washingon Navel (the Navel planted by the previous homeowner).
I plan to add 4 citrus. The list includes Clementine de Nules, Cara Cara Navel, Tango and Yosemite Gold. Are there any other citrus that you think I should consider (aside from Lemons/Limes)?

I'd highly recommend Moro Blood, if you haven't already checked it out. I have been selling it for about the last 8 years, and it's one of my most desired, and repeat purchases, because of it's raspberry flavor. Personally, I love it in fruit salads, as hot tea, and fresh squeezed, because of the unique flavor, and the marked presence of Anthocyanins and Ellagic Acid (both anti-cancer agents and super antioxidants), which surpasses the amount in all other oranges. It's also a beautiful tree, and produces best in SoCal.
Good luck whatever you decide! I hope you figure out what works best for you. :)

Yes, the Moro Blood Orange is great for your location. For persons with sustained, very warm summers (85+ F daily) then the Sanguinelli Blood Orange is a real treat. The MidKnight Valencia is widely available and as a mature plant produces excellent fruit.

I'm on the Riverside / Corona border so the Sanguinelli might work for me. Richard, do you have a source for USDA 88-2?

Ha! That has been released an is now in the trade under another name. I need to update that entry ... if memory serves it is Tango.
If you are north and/or east of the Prado Dam then definitely try Sanguinelli.
