I live in Illinois and am wondering at what temperature should i wrap up my Dwarf Orinicos at? I have 3 rangeing from 3-5 feet tall planted in the ground. Last nite it dropped down to bout 41F. Ill be digging up the 2 smaller ones and leaveing the 5 footer in ground covered up really-really tight! So when should i dig the other 2 up and put in the garage...when it drops down to freezing once in a while at nite but back in the 50s at day-or-when it drops down AND stays freezing...?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

You should be safe to wait till the scare of frost. When the weather warns for that I would dig them up. If you have your large ones in a area that is well draining and doesn't stay wet will help alot. If you google there was a page a guy made showing how he wrapped his nanners. Forget the kind he had and where he lived, but he got snow. He wrapped them to tight I'm suprised they didn't try to grow! So keeping them warm and having good drainage is your key to survive in thw winter. You could use heat tape as well. Good luck!
