I have some from some plants that I had to cut down because they were done blooming. Anyone had any luck planting them? I'm going to do a number of different ways of seeing if they'll grow. Waste of time?

They are one of the easiest species to germinate, especially when fresh. You shouldn't have any problems with them using a variety of common methods.

I love experimenting with seeds and never think it's a waste of time! :ha:
It'll be interesting to see how it turns out for you...
Good Luck!

There is a thread about the same thing in the "Banana Seed Germination Forum" you may find useful.
