Hello TC'ers!
From what I've read in many articles and here on the forum the only source of explants for banana TC is either meristematic tissue from a sucker or main pseudostem (saccrificing it) or embryo rescue material.
If I understand correctly it should in theory be possible to do this (at least in other plant genera) derived from any other plant tissue as well right? E.g. a piece of leafsheet, root, flowerbud, ect.
Did anyone ever try this or read anything about this?
