Don't know what color the flower is going to be, but I never saw a variegated orchid before, and now I have these.

Cant say that I've seen that either. Nice find. Keep us posted what they look like when they bloom.
Still have all your arms and legs after that acquisition? :ha:

Beautiful John! Variegated plants are my weakness! Here's the only ONE I found on eBay.

Scroll all the way down the ad to see the plant size being sold and click on the awesome photo link to see additional pictures. You will have to use the slider to the right to see the entire ad.

Jarred and Howard, Actually, the price wasn't that bad. I have 50 of these things so, in a couple of weeks, I plan on selling some of them. ($1.50 for .org members) I'll also have several other plants for sale at that time.
JaNan, The one I have is not the same as the one in your link. I clicked on the name of mine (Bright Edge) and found it has a purple and white striped flower. The information in the link says the plants they are selling have already bloomed. I looked at the picture they posted and my plants look like about the same size, (5 inches, or better, across. In my picture, the plants are in 4½ inch pots.) but I'm quite sure mine haven't bloomed yet.

OK,folks, you're on the list. Now, I haven't done shipping for a couple of years, and now it seems like the PO is only supplying boxes for the flat rate things: if you want to ship something Priority Mail, not flat rate, but based on weight, you now must provide your own boxes. Is this corect?

You can go to USPS.com and order different sizes in Priority Boxes. You will get them within the week. If you need some immediately you should be able to pick one or two from your local Post Office. ~J

Did you say you bought 50 of these variegated Phals?? What's the name of them? Are they all the same species or cross, or did you get a variety? I would guess they are all mericlones, to maintain the variegation.

The plants are tissue cultured. The name of the variety is Bright Edge, and all 50 are the same.

Mericlones usually have a clonal name. Did the tag say Phalaenopsis Bright Edge, with nothing in quotations after it?

The tag only had a letter, and some numbers, something like D136. The seller told me the name. I looked it up on Google Images, but nowhere did I find anything in quotation marks.
